Chris Johnson: Academic interests
I'm currently a PhD student in the School of Mathematics at the University of Manchester, UK. My research is on the flow of granular materials, supervised by Nico Gray.
My undergraduate degree was in mathematics at Churchill College, Cambridge, where I further obtained a Certificate of Advanced Studies in Mathematics.
I have previously worked at the Rutherford Appleton Laboratory with Dr Chris Davis, researching atmospheric and ionospheric physics and working on calibration algorithms for the NASA STEREO spacecraft.
